YoloTD Boosts Commuter Experience with the Restoration of 6 Trips to Yolobus Routes 211 & 212
Woodland, Calif. (Dec 20, 2023): Yolo Transportation District (YoloTD) is pleased to announce the restoration of six trips to Yolobus Woodland Local Routes 211 and 212, effective Sunday, January 14, 2024. These additional trips aim to enhance the commuting experience for passengers and contribute to the overall improvement of public transportation services in the region.
YoloTD’s Acting Director of Transit Operations, Daisy Romero expressed enthusiasm about restoring these trips, “We understand the importance of offering commuters more choices when it comes to their daily journeys. Restoring these trips aligns with our commitment to providing reliable and convenient fixed route services in our community.”
Beginning on January 14, 2024, commuters can look forward to the following additions to the Woodland Local Routes:

These trips have been designed to address the evolving transportation needs of the community, providing more options for riders to plan their journeys conveniently. Riders may view the schedule and plan their trip at Yolobus.com/Routes.
The restored trips were originally part of the YoloGO plan, a strategic initiative approved by the YoloTD Board of Directors in 2021. Unfortunately, due to the unforeseen challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, YoloTD had to postpone the implementation of these trips and temporarily reduce services.
The reinstated trips, offering early mornings and later rides, not only provide commuters with expanded options but also contribute to community well-being. This enhanced flexibility supports riders in planning their daily schedules, making it easier to meet work, education, and personal commitments.
Additionally, these trips, catering to both morning and evening hours, facilitate smoother travel for workers, customers, and tourists, ultimately promoting sustainability by reducing individual car usage and carbon emissions.
YoloTD remains committed to enhancing public transportation services and is optimistic that the restoration of these trips will contribute to increased accessibility and convenience for passengers.
