LCTOP Free Ride Program
The Low Carbon Transit Operations Program (LCTOP) is one of several programs included in the Transit, Affordable Housing, and Sustainable Communities Program established by Senate Bill 862 in 2014. LCTOP was created to assist transit agencies in reducing carbon emissions and improving mobility, particularly communities in dire need. With funding from LCTOP, YoloTD has been able to provide free rides through Yolobus’ Youth Ride Free program along with other free ride days in the region.
These free rides help reduce emissions while also keeping the Yolo community moving!
